"My only exercise was food-to-mouth elbow bends."
Officially disabled, Jim Miskelly lost his livelihood, selfconfidence
and self-discipline. “I became fat, lethargic and felt
useless,” he says. While his weight ballooned to 234 pounds,
he shrank four inches in height and his bones became brittle
from osteoporosis. “Being confined to a walker and wheelchair,
I diligently exercised my elbow bends, lifting a fork or spoon up
and down, and right into my mouth,” he recalls.
“Herbalife grabbed my attention.”
Susanne, Jim’s wife, sat down with him one day for a long talk.
They decided to embark on another of life’s journeys to each
lose weight and regain purpose in their lives. Jim’s Internet
research connected him to Herbalife, and with his doctor’s
approval, he and Susanne started the Thermojetics® High Protein, Low Carb Diet Program.
“I’m happier with Herbalife than being at leisure.”
Within four months, Jim dropped 52 pounds, from a size 44
to a size 36. Susanne, who lost 21 pounds in just five weeks,
gained a happier husband with a
brighter future at work. Enthuses
Jim, “Despite my disability, with
Herbalife I could still reduce my
weight, gain a lot of energy,
feel better about myself and my
condition.”*
